Grand Performances


Grand Performances (GP) proudly features Julio y su Teclado Mágico as our next TAKEOVER artist. To celebrate Mexican Independence Day, Julio will play his unique blend of musical styles including Cumbia, Norteño, and a bit of Reggae, Soul, and R&B on both GP’s Facebook and Instagram Live. Morones' performance will showcase the innate beauty and power of music despite one’s physical disabilities.

Wellness Wednesdays - Upcoming Virtual Events 
 

Wednesday, September 16th Zumba 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm 
  • Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included for additional body sculpt- ing and conditioning. Fun and energetic instructors boost energy while leading a well-rounded, heart-pumping workout designed to make employees sweat, laugh, and have fun.
Wednesday, September 23rd Tai Chi 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm 
  • Originating in ancient China, tai chi is an effective form of exercise for the mind and body. The ultimate purpose of tai chi is to cultivate the qi, or life energy, within a practitioner to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body. Known as “meditation in motion,” this low impact, slow-motion exercise goes through a series of motions without stopping, focusing on the breath and bodily sensations. Tai chi can be easily adapted for any fitness level or body type. There are many benefits of tai chi including, the reduction of stress and anxiety as well as increased balance, strength, cognitive function, and flexibility.
Wednesday, September 30th Bootcamp 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm 
  • This class focuses on all major muscle groups and is designed to strengthen and condition the entire body. Particular attention is paid to form and safety to ensure that each participant gets a great workout regardless of fitness level or age. This is an all-level class.

In Memory of Victor Lopez 


It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Victoriano Lopez-Diaz, who passed away unexpectedly on September 4th, 2020. Victor had been a valued member of the 2CAL team since October 1993. He was always eager to please and dedicated to keeping the building clean. Victor will be greatly missed.
