Toni Reed has over 25 years of Property Management experience. She began her career as a Property Manager for a small group of investors in Beverly Hills, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in Southern California. Since then, Toni has managed several premier high rise and mixed-use properties in Downtown Los Angeles, such as Two California Plaza (1999-2001), Union Bank Plaza, USC (formerly AT&T) Center and most recently, the Wilshire Grand Center. As the first member of the onsite property management team for the Wilshire Grand Center, Toni was responsible for hiring the engineering, security and management teams and ensuring the smooth transition from construction to startup of the base building and systems that support the 900-room Intercontinental Downtown Los Angeles Hotel, and the Office and Retail portions of the project.

Jason is primarily responsible for coordination of tenant services, contractor access requests and vendor insurance requirements. Jason also assists operations by drafting and tracking contracts, then generating reports to assist in fiscal management. Jason also maintains the Property website, manuals, and lease abstracts. Prior to joining the City National 2CAL Management team, Jason was a law clerk at one of California’s top landlord and tenant litigation firms, working primarily with commercial property owners. Jason graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in American Literature and has been working in the property management and real estate industry since 2011.

Vincent is charged with managing the daily operations of the Property. He focuses on building services, maintenance, contract management, tenant relations, and works closely with your office managers, contractors, construction managers and our in-house service providers. Prior to joining CIM Group in 2016, Vincent served as the City National Plaza Security Director for 5 years and earned High-Rise Fire Life Safety Certificate of Fitness from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Vincent holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of La Verne, a certificate in Human Resources Management from UCLA and is a United States Navy veteran with over 26-years of active duty service.

Maria’s responsibilities include management of customer relations, tenant service and property access requests, tenant and vendor insurance requirements, tenant emergency contacts and communication, overseeing of the property mail boxes, electrical vehicle charger accounts, and bike room access. Maria began working for CIM Group in August 2016. Prior to joining CIM, Maria worked for Allied Universal Security Services as an administrative assistant and security officer.

As the Assistant Property Manager, Hung concentrates on the financial aspects of building management including operating expenses, budgets, contracts and financial reports. He joined the City National 2CAL team in early 2016 and has over 10 years’ experience in commercial property management. Prior to joining CIM Group in 2014, Hung worked with Arden Realty, Inc. and Douglas Emmett Property Management teams from 2005-2014 managing high rise buildings located in the Valley and Westside areas.

Ailin’s responsibilities include billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections functions. Ailin has been working in City National 2CAL for over 4 years. Prior to joining CIM in 2014, Ailin already had over ten years of extensive and hands-on experience in general accounting for commercial property management teams. From 2007-2014 she worked at MPG Office Trust as a Project Revenue Accountant and earned her Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management from the University of the Philippines.

Guillermo manages all facets of the property’s 24/7 engineering department. He is responsible for all aspects of the building system maintenance programs and review of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and architectural plans for tenant and building improvement projects. Guillermo began his career at City National 2CAL as an engineering apprentice when the building first opened in 1992 and now has over 26 years of engineering and building specific experience. Guillermo also has Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cal State University, Los Angeles.

Art is responsible for all aspects of elevator and escalators operations for the Property. He is actively involved in all equipment upgrade and repair projects, periodic maintenance requirements, annual inspections, system controls and programming. Art has over 20 years of experience as an elevator technician and has maintained equipment at City National Plaza, Wells Fargo and Bank of America Towers. Art has also completed over five years of technical and mechanical training through the Otis Elevator certification programs and is a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors.

DeVon is responsible for multiple aspects related to engineering at City National 2 Cal, including the building systems, day to day operations, and implementing energy management opportunities where possible. He prides himself on bridging the mechanical aspect of this Class A High Rise with unparalleled tenant service. DeVon has dedicated over a decade to this site and has over 15 years’ experience in the industry. He has earned an AA in Liberal Arts and has completed a formal apprenticeship program with International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 501.

Michael has a combined 20+ years of service in the Fire Life Safety and Security services industry. Previously working as a medic and serving the public in emergency services with companies such as Universal Studios and The Walt Disney Company, Michael transitioned to downtown moving into the commercial high rise environment in 2007, with Allied Universal. Michael has an Associates Degree in Fire Technology and was awarded the Officer of the Year by ASIS in 2014. He has been involved with numerous fire safety and security system upgrades, while working closely with retail and high-rise tenants focusing on building personal and professional relationships addressing all of their security and safety needs.

Erin oversees the daily security operations, staff and security systems on the property. He is also involved in the Fire Life Safety and emergency response training programs. Prior to joining Allied Universal Security Systems, Erin was at the LA County Sheriff’s department and worked in general security for over 20 years. Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.

Brenda assists the Security Management team in all phases of day to day operations. She coordinates security staffing, freight elevator, loading dock and building resource reservations, payroll, and tenant access card requests. Prior to assuming the Administrative Assistant position, Brenda served as a City National 2CAL Security Command Center Operator and has over ten years of security program experience in commercial high-rise buildings and retail centers.

Johnny oversees all the operational and financial aspects of the parking garage including the valet and shuttle services programs. Johnny joined City National 2CAL in December of 2016. Prior to joining the property, Johnny managed the Figat7th and Ernst & Young garage for nine years. He has over 30-years of experience in the parking industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

Jerry manages all aspects the Property’s cleanliness and recycling programs including the day, night, and weekend cleaning teams. Jerry works closely with the Office and Facility Managers to ensure all tenant suites are exceptionally maintained. Prior to joining City National 2CAL in 2018, Jerry managed large ABM Janitorial Service projects in the entertainment environment including DreamWorks Studios, Paramount Studios and recently Dodger Stadium. Jerry brings a wealth of experience, industry knowledge and great customer service skills to the Property.

Construction

Charlie is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Tenant Improvement and Capital Improvement construction projects for City National 2 Cal. He prides himself on the quality of workmanship and attention to detail that is required at the property. Charlie is a graduate from the UCLA School of Interior and Environmental Design and a certified Interior Designer in the State of California.
